Advance Services has an exciting new opening for a Weekend Spot Welder Brooklyn Park, MN!

Duties:
  • Set up and operate spot welding machines based on work instructions and blueprints. 
  • Position and clamp workpieces together using jigs or fixtures. 
  • Monitor weld quality and make adjustments to machine settings as needed. 
  • Inspect finished welds for strength, appearance, and accuracy using gauges or visual checks. 
  • Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment, including cleaning electrodes and replacing tips. 
  • Record production data, defects, and maintenance activities. 
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). 
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members about production issues or quality concerns.
 
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in spot welding or metal fabrication is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and safety instructions.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of welding principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
 
Work Environment:
  • Manufacturing floor with exposure to heat, noise, and metal dust.
  • Requires use of PPE including gloves, safety glasses
  • The position is seated at the machine

Shift: 1st  Friday-Sunday
Hours: 6AM-6:30PM
Pay: $22-24/hr.
