Warehouse Inventory Controller
Location: Prescott, WI
Job Type: Full-Time 
$20-22/hr 
7AM-4PM, Monday through Saturday
About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Controller to oversee inventory accuracy and support efficient warehouse operations. In this role, you'll manage finished goods inventory, perform cycle counts, reconcile inventory records, and help ensure products are accurately tracked throughout the warehouse. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory integrity and supporting daily operations.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate finished goods inventory and warehouse stock levels.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate variances.
  • Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices are followed.
  • Monitor warehouse inventory through the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Generate daily inventory reports and communicate findings to management.
  • Coordinate inventory consolidation and organization within the warehouse.
  • Develop and support inventory control procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure smooth inventory flow.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Inventory Management, Materials Control, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent education and relevant experience will be considered.
Experience
  • 3–4 years of warehouse inventory experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years working with an ERP or MRP inventory system.
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience in retail, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or pharmaceutical industries is a plus.
Skills & Requirements
  • Strong understanding of inventory control principles and warehouse operations.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Forklift and reach truck certification preferred, or willingness to become certified.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday.
  • Frequently lift and carry 10–40 pounds.
  • Occasionally lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
  • Must have sufficient vision to safely perform warehouse duties, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
