Warehouse Associate – Vermillion, SD

Full-Time & Part-Time | All Shifts Available

Advance Services is hiring Warehouse Associates to join our growing team in Vermillion, SD! This role plays an important part in the success of both Advance Services and one of our top partners, Polaris Industries. You’ll perform a variety of warehouse functions, from receiving and processing stock to picking, packing, and shipping orders. No previous warehouse experience is required — we provide the training you need to succeed.

Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Associate, you will help ensure accuracy and efficiency in the warehouse to meet corporate and customer objectives. You’ll handle a range of tasks including processing incoming stock, filling orders, and shipping items.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Organize stock and merchandise, unbox, and store items correctly
  • Pick and pack orders according to company standards
  • Retrieve, verify, and record incoming products efficiently
  • Operate RF equipment, automated picking equipment, conveyors, and forklifts as assigned
  • Maintain neat and orderly warehouse conditions
  • Follow and report all safety procedures/issues
  • Consistently meet or exceed operational volume and quality standards
  • Positive attitude, strong time management, and reliable attendance
Skills & Knowledge Qualifications:
Required:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; must be 18+
  • Ability to read and understand pick tickets, purchase orders, receiving slips, and instructions
  • Basic arithmetic skills
  • Lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs (100 lbs with team lift)
  • Ability to stand for 8–9 hours and climb stairs
  • Overtime may be required during peak periods, including weekend
  • Ability to operate automated carts and warehouse machinery

Pay: $17.35/HR plus $1/HR shift differential 

Shift: Monday – Friday (OT every 7th Saturday) 

Hours: 1st shift 6:45am-3pm; MidShift 8:45am-5pm; 2nd Shift 3pm-11:15pm and PT evening available!
