Test Technician

We are looking for a Test Technician to support the testing and troubleshooting of electromechanical products! You will work closely with engineering tests and manufacturing to execute test procedures in the Scotts Valley, CA area. If you are highly skilled in manufacturing industries, electronics, and working with engineers this is a perfect opportunity for you!

Job Duties: 
  • Perform testing on prototype and early stage units following established test procedures.
  • Use test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and data logging tools to execute test plans. 
  • Assist in troubleshooting and identifying component, wiring and assembly issues to support root cause analysis. 
  • Interpret and review engineering schematics, basic wiring diagrams, test instructions, and build documentation. 
  • Documentation of any failures, defects, and improvement recommendations. 
  • Collaborate with engineering in pilot builds and launch activities. 
  • Help TRAIN Test Tech Level I team members on team processes, documentation, and safety practices. 
Requirements:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent required. Technical coursework or certification in electronics mechatronics, or related field required. 
  • 2+ years of experience in product testing, troubleshooting, or technical support environment. 
  • Knowledge of electronic test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies etc.).
  • Ability to read basic schematics, wiring diagrams, and test documents.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/work for extended period.
Pay: $30-$35/hr
Schedule: Mon-Fri
Hours: 1st shift
