Summer Research Assistant – Johnston, IA

Duration: May - Aug 2026
Pay: $20.00/hr
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:30am-4:00pm
 
Advance Services is hiring for experienced or entry-level workers for a summer project. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the agronomy/agricultural field. Perfect for college students!
Responsibilities
  • Traveling to off-site fields
  • Documenting and taking notes
  • Weed, hoe, and dig at field sites
  • Count and collect plant samples
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.
  • Ability work in outside elements doing physical tasks
  • Reliable transportation to commute between sites
