Job Description


Now Hiring! A Steel Welder is responsible for fabricating and assembling steel components by welding according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Steel Welder —
  • Perform MIG, TIG, or stick welding on structural and fabricated steel components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and shop drawings.
  • Measure, cut, fit, tack, and weld steel parts accurately.
  • Operate welding machines, grinders, cutting equipment, and other fabrication tools.
  • Inspect completed welds for strength, quality, and appearance.
  • Grind and finish welds as required.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and report defects or maintenance needs.
  • Work with supervisors and other fabricators to meet production schedules.
  • Follow company quality standards and welding specifications.
Qualifications
  • Previous steel welding or fabrication experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and measurements.
  • Proficiency with MIG welding; additional TIG or stick experience is a plus.
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy steel materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Hours 7am-3:30pm, Pay starting at $22/hr
