Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Inspect materials to ensure accuracy and quality before shipment.
- Prepare shipping documents and labels accurately.
- Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to load and unload trucks.
- Maintain inventory by properly documenting transfers, receipts, and shipments.
- Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and compliant with safety procedures.
- Communicate with internal teams and carriers to coordinate timely deliveries and pickups.
- Minimum of 1 2 years of warehouse shipping and receiving experience.
- Sit-down forklift certification or proven experience required.
- Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs] and perform physical warehouse tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
- Basic computer or ERP system knowledge for tracking shipments and inventory.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and in a team.
