Job Description

Immediately Seeking! Shipping & Receiving Team Member – Spencer, Iowa

Job Duties
Work as part of the shipping and receiving team in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include:

Verify outgoing shipments by comparing products and quantities against shipping documents.
Properly package, label, and load materials for transport.
Receive incoming shipments and inspect materials for accuracy and damage.
Route incoming materials to the appropriate departments.
Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
Organize raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods inventory.
Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy throughout the facility.
Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase recycling efforts.
Maintain company vehicles used within the department.
Communicate effectively with coworkers, internal departments, and suppliers.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications: Strong communication, organizational, and basic math skills are required. Previous shipping, receiving, inventory, or material-handling experience is preferred. Some travel may be required.
Safety Requirements
Must be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment and follow all company safety policies and procedures. Must be able to lift, move, and handle materials as needed throughout the shift, safely operate material-handling equipment, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
