School Nurse-Direct Hire
 
Description:
Advance Services, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Nurse for a direct hire opportunity in a local school setting in Hastings, NE. This position plays a critical role in supporting the health and wellness of students and staff, promoting a safe and healthy school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide health assessments and nursing care to students and staff

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

  • Maintain accurate and confidential health records

  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid

  • Monitor and manage chronic health conditions of students

  • Communicate with parents/guardians, teachers, and healthcare providers

  • Promote health education and disease prevention

  • Ensure compliance with state and federal health regulations

Qualifications:

  • Current RN or LPN license in the State of Nebraska

  • Previous nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics or school health

  • CPR/First Aid certification

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and handle sensitive situations with care
