Job Description

Scale House / Receiver

Bring your experience working in a warehouse as a Scale House/Receiver for an outstanding facility in Orland, CA.

Job Duties:

Ensure that the vehicle is completely on the scale.
Identify the vehicle by comparing the vehicle ID tag to the information in CPS and/or the vehicle log.
Establish the tare weight for each vehicle and have the driver adhere the sticker to the trailer where it is visible.
Product Delivery Tag is the driver/grower’s responsibility to provide to the receiver with the correct information.
Input data from Product Delivery Tag into CPS under Transactions - Dryer Door Receipt.
Print door receipt and distribute as needed.
Follow the split load procedure as needed.
Performs initial and routine set-ups and adjustments to maintain Dryer equipment in proper operation.
Operates Dryer equipment as assigned to meet Dryer requirements.
Responsible for informing management of potential hazards, making a conscious effort to keep work areas, equipment, and tools clean and orderly using common cleaning equipment.
Assists the Dryer Manager/Supervisor and Lead with the identification of required spare parts to

Requirements:

Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and communicate.
Must be able to read and write in English.
Must be able to work in a confidential manner.
Have basic computer knowledge.
Must complete the appropriate orientation and training program.
Able to be continuously exposed to outside elements for extended periods.
Must be able to withstand high temperatures continuously.
Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Pay: $19.00 to $21.00 DOE
