Job Description

Sanitation Lead
Schedule: 6:00am-2:30pm
Pay: $21-$25 based on experience

Are you a proactive leader with a keen eye for cleanliness and safety? We’re seeking a dedicated Sanitation Lead to ensure our facility operates at the highest standards of hygiene and compliance. In this vital role, you will oversee and implement sanitation procedures that meet FDA regulations and company guidelines, supporting the integrity of our production environment. What You’ll Do:

Enforce and monitor process controls, operating procedures, and sanitation requirements in accordance with FDA standards and management directives.
Supervise daily cleaning activities, ensuring all equipment, machinery, and facility areas are maintained to the highest hygienic standards.
Act as a backup to the Sanitation Supervisor, effectively communicating cleaning schedules, activities, and recommendations between the sanitation and production teams.
Assist in maintaining compliance documentation and report on sanitation activities as needed.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of sanitation processes and FDA compliance standards.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments.
Detail-oriented with the ability to follow and enforce strict protocols.
Leadership skills to oversee sanitation team activities effectively.
Ability to troubleshoot sanitation issues promptly and efficiently.

Nice to Have Skills:

Previous experience in a food manufacturing or pharmaceutical environment.
Knowledge of safety regulations and OSHA standards.
Bilingual skills are a plus.

Preferred Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications related to sanitation or safety preferred.
Prior experience in a sanitation supervisory or lead role, ideally within a regulated industry.

Other Requirements:

Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends or overtime if necessary.
Willingness to adhere to strict safety and cleanliness standards.
