Looking for a Quality Inspector that will provide on-site support by conducting documentation reviews, visual inspections, and dimensional checks on manufactured parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies in the Hollister area!

Job Description: 
  • Verify that all products and associated documentation comply with engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, industry standards, and applicable specifications.
  • Review Certificates of Conformance from material suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers to ensure compliance with customer and purchase order requirements.
  • Perform a wide range of standard inspection activities using various measurement tools and inspection techniques.
  • Record inspection results within customer systems (e.g., Verify, Customer portals) and report any non-conformances, providing appropriate reject or rework dispositions.
  • Use a personal laptop to complete inspection tasks and reporting as required.

Requirements: 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to clearly report non-conformances internally and externally
  • Proficiency with computers and willingness to use a personal laptop for inspection reporting via the Supplier Performance Platform (SPP)
  • Willingness to use a personal cell phone for work-related communication
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and comply with all safety and PPE requirements
  • Physical capability to stand, sit, kneel, maneuver, and lift up to 30 lbs
Qualifications & Experience:
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in:
  • Mechanical Inspections (e.g., PWB, PWA)
  • Inspection of tight tolerances and complex assemblies
  • Large mill-turn parts and special processes
  • J-STD-001 soldering inspections
  • Conducting First Article Inspections (FAIs) per AS9102 standards, including full technical data package review for traceability
  • Proficiency with precision inspection tools such as micrometers and calipers
 
Pay: $25 - $28/HR. 
Shift: Monday - Thursday (Varies)
Hours: 6am - 4:30pm (Varies)
