Job Description

Position: Project Specialist
Shift: 1st Shift
Starting Pay: $18.00/hour
Employment Type: Temporary (with potential for permanent placement depending on performance and business need)
Job Purpose
The Project Specialist will assist with a hands-on project involving the restoration and maintenance of rusted cylinders. This position requires someone eager to learn, reliable, and able to take initiative. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and enjoys physical, active work in a production environment.
Responsibilities
The Project Specialist will perform general labor tasks as part of the rusted cylinders project. Duties include cleaning, inspecting, and handling materials with close attention to detail. The candidate must be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of accuracy and safety. Flexibility and openness to taking on various job duties as assigned are essential.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Candidates should be dependable, trustworthy, and demonstrate integrity in their work. Strong attention to detail, initiative, and a willingness to learn are key. Experience with Lean 5S principles is a plus. Applicants must enjoy physical labor, be able to work independently, and hold a valid driver’s license.
