Job Description

Press Brake Operator – Galesburg, IL Starting Pay: $18/hr
Advance Services, Inc. is now hiring a Press Brake Operator in Galesburg, IL! We are looking for dependable candidates with manufacturing experience who are ready to join a growing team in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Duties
  • Set up and operate computer programmable/controlled brake press machines
  • Plan and layout bending sequences by referring to drawings and blueprints
  • Bend products and assemblies ranging from small/lightweight to large/heavyweight materials
  • Set up metal dies in preforming and forming operations
  • Align, fit, and adjust parts to meet operating requirements
  • Assist Engineering personnel with modifications, parts substitutions, and revisions
  • Perform quality control inspections to ensure product accuracy and consistency
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
  • Previous press brake or metal fabrication experience preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and measuring tools accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to lift and move materials as needed
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
