Job Description


Pipe Material Handler
Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm
Pay: $22-$27 based on experience

Join a dynamic team as a Pipe Material Handler and play a vital role in ensuring the seamless movement of materials within our facility. This hands-on position is essential for maintaining efficient operations and supporting production workflows. If you thrive in a physically active environment and take pride in accuracy and organization, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do:
  • Remove folded pipe materials from web presses and carefully place them on pallets or skids for easy handling.
  • Load and unload materials onto and from pallets, carts, or trays, ensuring safe and efficient transfer.
  • Move materials from storage areas or work sites to designated locations using hand trucks, electric dollies, or other devices.
  • Count, weigh, and record the number of units you handle daily, maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Attach labels or tags to materials and mark information on containers to ensure proper identification and tracking.

Required Skills:
  • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials regularly.
  • Basic counting, weighing, and record-keeping skills.
  • Familiarity with using hand trucks, dollies, or similar equipment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling and recording material movement.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or printing environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems or barcode labeling.
  • Experience operating material handling equipment such as electric dollies or forklifts.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in material handling or warehouse operations is a plus but not required.

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work flexible shifts if necessary.
  • Willingness to lift up to [insert specific weight if known] and stand for extended periods.
  • Adherence to all safety guidelines and protocols.
