Job Description


Custodian – Part Time
Monmouth, IL

Schedule: 20 hours/week
Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM
Pay: $15/hour

Job Summary:
Seeking a reliable Custodian to maintain clean, safe, and sanitary interior spaces, with occasional exterior maintenance and delivery support. This role works under the direction of the Program Coordinator and requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms and common areas

  • Empty trash and clean waste receptacles

  • Vacuum carpets and clean rugs

  • Sweep and mop floors

  • Dust vents and windows; clean windows bi-monthly

  • Periodic carpet shampooing

  • Exterior cleaning (canopies, parking lot)

  • Assist with unloading or delivering products

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record

  • Reliable with strong work ethic

  • Attention to detail

  • Familiar with basic tools and repairs

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Works well with people of all ages and backgrounds

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, carry up to 40 lbs, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and perform general custodial duties.
