Job Description

Packing Machine Operator- 2nd Shift
Hours: 3:00pm-11:30pm (Mon-Fri)
Hourly Rate: $20-$27 (based on experience)

Overview:
- The Pouch Operator sets up and operates pouch making machines that convert laminated films into pouches that meet or exceed customer quality specifications by performing the following duties.

Job Duties:
- Review job specs and prior run data to set up machines and material requirements.
- Monitor machine operation, identify defects or malfunctions, and make adjustments to maintain quality.
- Measure products to verify accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with assistant operators to stack, mark, pack, and move finished product.
- Perform changeovers, preventive maintenance, and routine equipment upkeep.
- Complete quality checks and production reports.

Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Proficient with hand tools, and cleaning equipment
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
