Job Description


Job Title: Utility Operator – 2nd/3rd Shift

Location: Dyersville, IA

Pay:

  • $18.00/hr starting pay during training (1st shift)

  • $18.50/hr after training with shift differential

  • Weekly pay!
Job Summary
We’re looking for a Utility Operator to join our production team! This role involves operating and maintaining equipment to produce high-quality animal feed and supplements.

You’ll train on 1st shift for 1–2 months before moving to your permanent shift. Candidates should be comfortable working in a dusty, dirty environment and have mechanical ability. An agriculture background is a big plus!
Current Openings

  • 2nd Shift: Mon–Thur | 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM (OT on Fridays as needed)

  • 3rd Shift: Sun–Thur | 11:30 PM – 7:30 AM
Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain production equipment such as mixers, baggers, and lift equipment.

  • Monitor production lines to ensure efficiency and timely shipments.

  • Keep work areas clean and safe.

  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.

  • Communicate with team members to improve processes.

  • Troubleshoot equipment or production issues as they arise.
Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Mechanical ability required; ag background preferred.

  • Must pass a background check and drug screen.

  • Ability to:

  • Lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly

  • Stand, walk, and bend for long periods

  • Wear a respirator where required

  • Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.

  • Basic computer skills for data entry.
    PPE Information

    • Provided: Hard hat, safety glasses, gloves

    • Required: Steel or composite toe boots
