Responsibilities:
Respectfully welcome visitors and receive phone calls, providing information and direction as needed
Provide administrative support to the Pastor, Staff, and other assigned church related projects
Prepare and distribute church communications: printed weekly bulletins, weekly email announcements, and printed monthly newsletter
Create announcements slide shows and order of service document for sound booth tech team for Sunday services
Maintain the church calendar, coordinating church events and activities, managing building and grounds reservations
Receive and appropriately direct communications to include emails, mail, and phone calls, and prayer requests
Update the church’s digital sign as needed
Update the online church directory as needed
Maintain visitor and membership records and prepare letters to visitors
Assist with gathering reports and preparing information packets for the Steering Board meetings (every other month)
Process background checks for volunteers and staff
Work with office volunteers to accomplish administrative activities in a timely and effective manner
Maintain appropriate levels of office supplies

Hours: 9:00 to 12:00 Monday through Thursday
Proposed pay $16 per hour to the individual plus staffing agency fees
Potential for permanent hire into the position for up to 16 hours per week and an increase in pay
