Job Description


1st shift (Mon-Fri) 6am - 230pm $22hr

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Mechanical Sheet Metal Assembler to join our data center infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and modifying sheet metal components used in mechanical systems, enclosures, and structural elements within high-performance data centers. This role requires basic mechanical skills, familiarity with hand and power tools, and the ability to follow technical drawings and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assemble sheet metal components based on blueprints, schematics, and verbal instructions.

· Install mechanical enclosures, cable trays, HVAC ducting, and support structures.

· Operate hand tools, drills, riveters, and other basic fabrication equipment.

· Perform quality checks to ensure assemblies meet specifications and tolerances.

· Assist in loading/unloading materials and organizing workstations.

· Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other trades on-site.

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· 1+ years of experience in mechanical assembly or sheet metal work (preferred).

· Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and layout plans.

· Proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools.

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in physically demanding environments.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

· Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing project needs.

· Experience in data center or industrial environments is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Certification in sheet metal work or mechanical assembly.

· Familiarity with data center infrastructure components (e.g., server racks, cooling systems).

· Forklift or scissor lift certification.
