Scrap Yard Worker – Watertown, SD

We’re Hiring

Join a company specializing in iron and metal products. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Scrap Yard Worker to assist customers and support daily operations in a fast-paced scrap yard environment. If you enjoy working outdoors and staying active, this is a great opportunity.
Job Duties:

  • Assist customers with unloading scrap metal from vehicles and trailers

  • Sort metals by type and place materials in designated yard locations

  • Weigh materials using a scale and complete customer tickets as needed

  • Prepare metals for processing using shredders and shears

  • Operate or be trained on equipment such as forklifts, bobcats, and cranes
Pay & Schedule:

  • $18.00 per hour

  • Day shift, Monday through Friday

  • Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Overtime opportunities available
