Manufacturing General Labor  – Openings in El Mirage, AZ!
 
Advance Services Inc. is looking for experienced Manufacturing General Laborer’s located in El Mirage, AZ!

The Laborer performs a variety of tasks under close supervision of higher-level employees. These tasks may include assisting with extra workload, covering absences and vacations, and supplementing crews to meet unusual changes in the production area or in the weather.

Job Description:
 
  • Cleans and lubricates equipment, maintains a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and readies or puts away tools as assigned.
  • Closely follows directions to operate machinery, hold or supply materials and tools, and load or unload items on machinery and assembly lines.
  • Feed raw material into production machinery.
  • Assemble goods on production floor.
  • Carry out basic quality and testing checks.
  • Handle inventory and perform basic inventory counts.
  • Store good and raw materials properly in plant.
  • Use lifting equipment (e.g., hand carts, pallet jacks, etc.) to safely move materials.
  • Maintain work area and equipment.
  • Perform any unskilled job at the plant.
  • May be trained to act as forklift operator when normal operator is out.
  • Reports any issues to supervisor or higher-level employee.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Experience and Qualifications Required:
 
  • Strong work ethic, organization, and communication skills.
  • Able to multitask, adapt to changing workloads, and work on feet for long periods.
  • Team-oriented, cooperative, and able to follow directions.
  • Physically capable and willing to work overtime as needed.
  • Experienced with power tools and assembly line work, and able to read a tape measure.
  • Committed to safety and responsive to management direction. Versatile and able to work in various roles.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Two or more years of warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • One or more years of assembly line experience required. Previous related experience preferred.

Hourly Pay:
  • $18.00 (temp to hire)

Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday overtime as needed
  • Day Shift – 6:00am to 2:30pm
