Job Description

Manufacturing Engineering Technician
Cedar Rapids, IA
$60,000–$80,000+ DOE
Full-Time | 1st Shift

We are hiring a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support automated manufacturing equipment and test systems in a clean, temperature-controlled environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting, equipment support, startup assistance, and continuous improvement on the production floor.
Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot automated equipment, PLCs, sensors, and test systems
Support equipment startup and production operations
Perform root cause analysis and assist with process improvements
Make minor PLC/HMI adjustments under engineering guidance
Maintain documentation and support preventative maintenance efforts

Qualifications:

Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field preferred
2+ years of manufacturing or automated equipment experience
Experience reading schematics and troubleshooting controls systems
Familiarity with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and industrial equipment
