Job Description

Maintenance Technician

We are hiring! As a Maintenance Tech, you will be responsible for equipment maintenance and repair including preventative maintenance, electrical, mechanical and facilities repairs in addition to managing a clean and organized work area. Gilroy, CA area!

Shift: Mon-Thurs
Hours: 5:30am-4:00pm
Pay: $25.00-$27.00

Job Duties:
  • Record repairs required, parts used, and labor time in CMMS system Install, maintain, and enhance electrical systems and components, including fuses, lights, and wiring; inspect, test, and diagnose issues with systems and components
  • Perform all work in a manner that meets and follows electrical codes, blueprints, and standards
  • Inspect and test equipment to locate damaged or worn parts and diagnose malfunctions, by referencing schematic drawings and mechanical drawings to determine required repairs
  • Measure velocity, amperage, and voltage of units or parts to diagnose problems, using ammeters, voltmeters, watt/meters, and other testing devices
  • Build, assemble, install and maintain parts, equipment and machinery as required
