Maintenance Technician- 1st Shift
Pay: $20/hour
Hours: Monday-Friday (7am-3:30pm)
Overview:
- We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to support general facility maintenance, equipment upkeep, scrap handling, and janitorial duties in a manufacturing environment.
Job Duties:
- Perform general maintenance and facility upkeep.
- Clean plant and office areas, including floors, bathrooms, and garbage collection.
- Sort, handle, load, and unload metal scrap and maintain required documentation.
- Operate and maintain chip spinner, forklift, and manual lift.
- Perform filter changes on HVAC systems, air compressors, machines, and Smog Hogs.
- Change and maintain machine coolant, including checking concentration levels.
- Use basic hand tools and maintenance equipment.
Job Requirements:
- Basic mechanical aptitude and hand tool knowledge.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions, diagrams, and blueprints in English.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Safety- and quality-conscious with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and controls.
