Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

Advance Services is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a company in Hastings. Employees will enjoy a safe work environment, safety and attendance incentives, and weekly pay!

Duties include:

Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance activities throughout the facility, with limited direction.
Safely operate standard maintenance tools including hand tools, power tools, electrical tools, precision maintenance tools and preventative maintenance technologies.
Demonstrate working knowledge in one or more maintenance trades, including mechanical maintenance, pumps and piping systems, gearboxes, bearing and lubrication, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, welding, fabrication, pipefitting or basic electrical work.
Modify or interpret mechanical and/or electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals with guidance as needed.
Troubleshoot equipment failures and complete repairs to restore safe and reliable operation.
Document completed work, findings, and equipment conditions using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Collaborate with peers and management to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Operate forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts in accordance with safety policies and operating procedures.
Follow all facility safety policies and procedures, including safe work permits and hazard assessments.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule: Days – 7:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, overtime may be required

Wage: $26.00-$29.00 DOE
