As an SMT Operator I, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the production of high-quality electronic components, working with sophisticated equipment and contributing to innovative projects. Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate selective solder, conformal coating, and wave soldering equipment with precision to meet production standards.
  • Learn and understand machine functions thoroughly, making appropriate adjustments to setup parameters to guarantee optimal quality of the produced materials.
  • Attend in-house IPC certification training to uphold industry standards and enhance technical skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of all production runs for analysis, quality control, and process improvement purposes.
  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment or product failures encountered during testing, and perform rework as instructed to meet quality specifications.
  • Ensure all projects are properly documented, including comprehensive paperwork associated with each production batch.
  • Conduct cycle counts of stock materials to maintain inventory accuracy and support manufacturing efficiency.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned to support the manufacturing team and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Basic understanding of SMT and soldering processes is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
