Outdoor Janitorial Maintenance  – Des Moines, IA
 

Job Title: Janitorial Maintenance Worker
Pay: $16.00-18.00/hour
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 7:30am-4:00pm

Advance Services, Inc. is hiring a Janitorial Maintenance Worker in Des Moines, IA to provide cleaning, sanitation, and basic facility upkeep for a local school. This full-time opportunity is perfect for individuals who take pride in maintaining clean spaces and creating a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Enjoy steady weekday hours and weekly pay with long-term growth potential.
Responsibilities

  • Assist with basic maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and equipment checks

  • Follow safety guidelines, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and protective equipment

  • Support setup for school events and activities as needed

  • Conduct outdoor building and yard maintenance

 
Requirements

  • 1+ years of janitorial, custodial, or maintenance experience preferred

  • Reliable attendance and time management

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
