Job Description

Inspector Trainee

Bring your experience working in a warehouse as an Inspector Trainee for an outstanding facility in Chico, CA.

Job Duties:

Inspect incoming materials to ensure compliance with specifications through visual and dimensional inspections.
Monitor in-process production by verifying specifications, performing inspections, and communicating required adjustments to production supervisors.
Inspect finished products to confirm quality standards, identify nonconforming items, coordinate rework activities, and verify corrective actions.
Document inspection findings by maintaining reports, logs, and quality records, including tracking rework and material waste within the quality database.
Operate and maintain measurement equipment in accordance with established procedures and operating instructions.
Support a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through training, educational opportunities, and review of industry publications.
Contribute to organizational and quality objectives by completing additional duties and supporting departmental goals as needed.

Requirements:

Attention to detail
Basic Math Skills.
Previous manufacturing experience.
Must be able to read blueprints.
Must be familiar with basic measuring instruments.
Moderate Lifting required.

Pay: $17.25 to $18.25 DOE
