Industrial Maintenance – Des Moines, IA

Pay: $27.45/hr
Schedule: Mon 4AM-4PM, Tues-Fri 7:30AM-4PM, Sun 4AM-12PM | 5 days/week | every 3rd weekend off
Responsibilities
  • Performs preventative maintenance on all plant equipment
  • Performs machine repair and installation such as replacing motors, gear boxes, screw conveyors, threading piping, weld piping, repair/replace pumps and uses cutting torch
  • Conducts daily greasing and oiling of plant equipment as needed
  • Maintains clean, neat, and orderly work area at all times
  • All other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Previous welding and industrial maintenance experience required
  • Lift/Forklift experience required
  • Ability work in a high odor environment
  • Experience working in a slaughter/rendering plant preferred
