Indirect Buyer

We are seeking an experienced Indirect Buyer to support a large-scale site expansion project in the Hollister area! This role will be responsible for sourcing materials and services, managing purchasing activities, supporting project timelines, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will have purchasing experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, or similar technical environment and possess strong organizational and communication skills.

Job Description:

Execute purchase orders and other procurement activities to secure long-term supply agreements and stabilize pricing.
Ensure purchase order records are accurate and resolve discrepancies related to pricing, lead times, transportation, and terms and conditions in a timely manner.
Gather and review data for program requests involving parts and services, ensuring suppliers are approved and actively authorized for use.
Prepare documentation required for purchase requisition (PR) creation.
Provide follow-up support for purchase requisitions and purchase order approval processes.
Coordinate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules and expedite orders as necessary to support project milestones and timelines.
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs)
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, project management, and finance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of purchasing, procurement, or sourcing experience within an aerospace, manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment.
Working knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles is a plus!
Experience managing purchase orders, supplier communications, and procurement documentation.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Data analysis and KPI tracking preferred
Project-based purchasing support preferred

Pay: $40 - $60/HR.
Shift: Monday - Friday
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm
