Now Hiring: General Labor – Non-Ferrous
Location: Council Bluffs, IA
? Schedule: 1st shift
Pay Rate: $20

Job Overview

We’re looking for a dependable and hardworking individual to join our Non-Ferrous team. If you have experience with material handling and heavy equipment—or a strong willingness to learn—this could be a great fit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect incoming materials from customers for proper sorting
  • Identify and categorize non-ferrous metals per mill specifications
  • Package scrap materials appropriately
  • Operate alligator shear to cut down metal components
  • Use forklift, bobcat, or pay loader to move material across the yard or warehouse
  • May use torching equipment to break down larger pieces of material
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the team

Requirements
  • Ability to work in an industrial outdoor/indoor setting
  • Prior experience in metal recycling or machinery a plus
  • Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols
  • Forklift experience preferred (certification a plus)
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
