Job Description

Seasonal General Operator

Pay: $19.00/hour (1st Shift) | $20.00/hour (2nd Shift)
Schedule: 6 days per week, 40+ hours with overtime available
Duration: Seasonal (August - October)
Location: Plymouth, IN

As a General Operator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting seasonal seed crop production, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a safe, dynamic outdoor work environment. This fast-paced role is perfect for physically active individuals who thrive in nature and enjoy hands-on work.

Required Skills:

Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 60 lbs repeatedly
Comfortable working outdoors in diverse weather conditions (rain, heat, cold, dust, pollen)
Strong attention to detail, particularly in distinguishing seed varieties by size or color
Good physical endurance—standing, walking, climbing stairs, and working in elevated areas
Safety-conscious mindset with the ability to follow operational procedures and safety protocols
Excellent communication skills in English — reading, speaking, and following directions
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to adapt to changing conditions and troubleshoot on the go
