Job Description


Receiving Associate – 2nd Shift
Location: North Liberty, IA
Shift: 2nd Shift, 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay: $22.32 per hour

We are seeking a Receiving Associate to join our team in North Liberty! This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt, movement, and storage of raw materials, supplies, and finished goods.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload incoming freight and materials.

  • Use computerized inventory systems and scanning equipment to track goods accurately.

  • Enter inventory movement into the system for raw materials and finished goods.

  • Organize and consolidate products for efficient storage.

  • Transport finished goods to storage areas.

  • Communicate effectively via email and with team members.

  • Proactively suggest improvements to processes.

  • Follow all safety rules and report any injuries or near misses promptly.

  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • No experience necessary – we will train the right candidate.

  • Ability to read and follow basic instructions and safety procedures.

  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable working in a team environment.

  • Ability to operate or learn to operate pallet jacks and powered industrial trucks.

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.

  • Forklift certification required (training available if needed).
Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs.

  • Able to work at heights up to 25 feet.

  • Frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, and stooping required.
Work Environment:

  • Exposure to moving machinery, elevated areas, and airborne particles.

  • May occasionally be exposed to chemicals.

  • The noise level can be loud at times.
