Extrusion Operator - Day Shift

We have an amazing opportunity to use your skills as a Extrusion Operator in Sandy, UT area! This position offers a steady work schedule, growth opportunities, and a teamwork environment.

Job Duties
  • Setting up and preparing extrusion lines for production.
  • Loading raw plastic pellets or materials into hoppers.
  • Adjusting machine parameters like temperature, pressure, and screw speed.
  • Performing startup, shutdown, and changeovers between production runs.
  • Conducting visual and dimensional quality checks using calipers and micrometers.
  • Troubleshooting issues such as uneven output, bubbles, or die buildup.
  • Recording production data, output, and machine performance.
  • Clean dies, filters, and cooling systems regularly.
  • Maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in the work area.

  • Pay Rate:  $18.00 per hour
  • Shift: Monday -Thursday
Qualifications:
  • Experience in plastic extrusion, injection molding, or related manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient with inventory software and Microsoft Office.
  • Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
  • Must be fluent in English, reading, writing and speaking
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
