Job Description

Electronic Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support the assembly, testing, and maintenance of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) using a variety of technologies. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment, working closely with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure high-quality production and continuous improvement in the Scott's Valley, CA area

Job Duties: 
  • Assemble PCBAs using through-hole, SMT, and mixed-technology components
  • Perform hand soldering, rework, and repair in accordance with IPC standards
  • Operate and maintain assembly equipment such as pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, wave solder, AOI, and X-ray systems (as applicable)
  • Conduct visual inspections and basic functional testing to verify product quality
  • Troubleshoot assembly issues and support root cause analysis of defects
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in PCB or electronic assembly (experience level may vary by role).
  • Proficiency in hand soldering and desoldering techniques.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721 preferred).
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
Pay rate: $25.00-$30.00
Shift: 1st Shift
