Job Description


Job Title: Electrician

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $22–$24 per hour (DOE)

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential units. This position offers a stable daytime schedule and opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and troubleshoot electrical wiring, systems, fixtures, and components in residential units.
  • Install conduits, pipes, and electrical junction boxes, ensuring compliance with all electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Mount circuit breakers, panels, and other electrical hardware, connecting wiring securely to facilitate safe and reliable electricity distribution.
  • Connect electrical systems to main powerlines, performing all necessary commissioning to ensure operational readiness.
  • Conduct thorough tests of electrical systems using diagnostic tools, diagnosing and resolving issues promptly.
  • Inspect existing wiring and electrical components to identify repair needs and replace conduits, wiring, or circuit breakers as required.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and ensure all installations adhere to relevant codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and assist in other related electrical duties to support project completion.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics.
  • Extensive knowledge of residential electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety procedures.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, test meters, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple tasks.

Education & Experience:
  • Minimum of two years of professional electrical experience in residential or similar environments.
  • Valid electrician’s license or relevant certification (if applicable).

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to distinguish colors for wiring identification.
  • Capable of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding for extended periods.
  • Physical strength to pull wires and cables through conduits and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be comfortable working in varied environments and conditions.
