Job Description


1st Shift Eastman Machine Operator – $18.50/hr
Location: Ottawa, IL
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Type: Temp-to-Hire

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Eastman Machine Operator to set up, operate, and monitor fabric cutting equipment for liner manufacturing. This role requires strong attention to detail and accuracy to ensure parts meet production specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate Eastman cutting machines

  • Program and adjust cutting tools as needed

  • Monitor production and perform quality checks

  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues

  • Maintain a safe and clean work area

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of machine operation or CNC experience

  • Manufacturing or production experience

  • Ability to read technical drawings and prints

  • Basic computer skills

  • CAD experience (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) preferred

  • Strong attention to detail
