Now Hiring: Facility Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist – Direct Hire | Yankton, SD
Advance Services is seeking an experienced Facility Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist for a Direct Hire opportunity with a leading global manufacturing company in Yankton, SD. Job Duties:
  • Lead and manage all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs for the facility.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement accident prevention and workplace safety initiatives.
  • Coordinate employee safety and environmental training programs.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Manage waste reduction, recycling, and energy conservation efforts.
  • Maintain EHS records, reports, and regulatory documentation.
  • Partner with production, HR, and leadership to promote a safe work environment.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related technical field preferred.
  • 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with ISO management systems, ergonomics, or behavior-based safety is a plus.
