Diesel Technician

We’re seeking a talented Diesel Technician to play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing diesel engines, agricultural machinery, construction equipment, and more. Job Type: Full Time
Monday-Friday (Some Saturdays)
Salary: $17.00 - $23.00 DOE
Full Benefits
Location: Gering, NE 69341

Required Skills:

Ability to lift and handle heavy loads up to 70 lbs.
Valid driver’s license.
Proficiency in diagnosing engine, fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and related system faults.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to explain repairs clearly to customers.

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with agricultural, construction, or heavy-duty equipment.
Knowledge of flat-rate and billed time repair processes.
Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience as a diesel technician or in a similar role is preferred.

Other Requirements:

Willingness to perform occasional off-site service work, including driving service trucks.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Ability to follow instructions diligently and uphold company values.
