Job Description

Class A CDL Driver – Local / Home Nightly (Cedar Rapids, IA)
We’re hiring an experienced Class A CDL Driver to haul and deliver scrap metal around the Cedar Rapids area. This is a local position — home every night with steady hours and overtime available.

Pay: $24–$28/hr (based on experience)
Hours: 40–50 per week, with OT opportunities

What You’ll Do:

  • Haul and deliver scrap metal to local customers and vendors

  • Perform daily inspections and follow all safety/DOT rules

  • Secure and tarp loads as needed

  • Operate and shift manual (standard) transmission trucks — must be comfortable driving manual, not automatic

  • Keep your truck clean and well maintained

What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid Class A CDL + current DOT medical card

  • 5–10 years of CDL driving experience

  • Experience driving manual transmission trucks required

  • Safe, reliable, and team-oriented
