Job Description

CNC Lead
Hourly Rate: $34-$45

Overview:
- Responsibilities include planning, programming, set-up, tooling, work holding, gauging/measuring and operating CNC mills and/or Lathes to produce production parts to print and inspection information by loading and unloading parts, measuring parts. Able to make a part from a print, material, machine and 
tools. Meeting scheduled deliveries.

Job Duties:
- Offer leadership to keep the Shop running and meet schedule and deliveries.
-CNC MILL AND LATHE PROGRAM: Program using G-Code on the machine or off-line. Must be able to Model parts and post out. Fanuc Controls with Doosan Machines
- SET-UP JOBS FROM BEGINNING TO END: Plan the job, Print, Specifications, Material, Work Holding, Cutting Tools, Measuring/Gauging, Inspection Report, Machine and program.
- OPERATE – Tool -Offsets, change tools, measure/gauge parts, inspection report, and count parts
- First Article Inspection, FPQP, PPAP LVL 3 to be at expert level. 
- TRAINING; Train Operators to operate machines and set-up.
- Able to Set-Up and Operate Manual Mill, Lathe and Band Saw; Set-up, measure parts, record measurements, deburr parts, understand tooling, speeds and feeds.
- DEBURRING; required to belt sand, deburring knife, vibratory deburring and/or a bench top grinder.
- MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES; Include adding coolant and/or oil to machines, cleaning machines, collect 
garbage and chip barrels. Package parts. Simple Machine Repair.
- OTHER DUTIES; As required.

Skills and Experience: 
- High School Diploma or equivalent, must have math skills and be able to keep track of count of parts.
- Journeyman Card in Precision Machining helpful.
- Must have at least 7 years in Machining Environment and 3 years of G-Code Programming.
- Must be able to use scale, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges or micrometer. Includes plug and thread gauges. Record results.
- Must have Machinist Tools, Measuring Equipment and Hand Tools
- Must be able to computer scan on time clock and job ticket to keep track of part and time.
- Must be capable of lifting and pushing at least 35 pounds. Sometime repetitively reach and lift 2 pounds. 
- Keep a safe work environment.
- Organized and able to clean-up
