Job Description


Assembler

Become a key part of a high-performing team in Grand Island, NE at a world-class manufacturer, in a safe and friendly environment! 

Job Duties:

  • Apply, align, attach, insert, and fasten components and sub-assemblies to chassis in the required order and sequence

  • Work from engineering specifications, work instructions, sketches, schematics, blueprints, process sheets, check sheets, photo books, and verbal instructions

  • Perform necessary adjustments as units progress down the assembly line

  • Identify, record, and report defects, improper operations, faulty equipment, and defective parts to supervision or management

  • Visually inspect parts and complete assemblies for completeness, function, operation, and appearance

  • Assist in the development and improvement of assembly practices and procedures

  • Move materials as needed to perform job duties

  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment

  • Follow all prescribed safety rules and regulations

  • Perform touch-up or minor repair work when assigned

  • Complete other duties as required or directed

  • Overtime may be required, including occasional Saturday operations

Pay: $22.01/hr 
Shift: 1st shift
Hours: 6am - 2:30pm
