Job Description

2nd Shift Quality Tech Lead
Schedule: 2:30pm to 1:00am Monday through Thursday

Are you a detail-oriented quality assurance professional with leadership prowess? Join our team as a 2nd Shift Quality Technician Lead and play a pivotal role in safeguarding our product integrity and ensuring customer satisfaction. This leadership position offers the chance to supervise and mentor a dedicated QC team while maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and compliance during the crucial 2nd shift hours. Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of food safety standards, quality procedures, and regulatory requirements
Proven experience in conducting inspections, audits, and routine checks within a manufacturing or food production setting
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Effective leadership and team management skills
Ability to identify, report, and control non-conformance issues promptly
Proficiency in documentation and reporting procedures
Strong communication skills to collaborate across departments

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
Knowledge of HACCP or other food safety management systems
Familiarity with quality management software or laboratory testing procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in quality or food safety (e.g., GFSI, SQF) preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, with prior leadership or supervisory roles in a manufacturing or food production environment

Other Requirements:

Ability to work on the 2nd shift schedule, including possible overtime
Willingness to support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in team training
Knowledge of safety protocols and good manufacturing practices
