2nd Shift CNC Operator – Galesburg, IL
Pay: $22.50/hour
Shift: 2nd Shift

Advance Services is seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Operator for a manufacturing facility in Galesburg, IL. This position offers competitive pay, a stable work environment, and opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce quality parts according to specifications.
  • Load and unload raw materials and monitor machine operations throughout production runs.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and tolerances using precision measuring tools, including micrometers and height gauges.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and CAD designs.
  • Calibrate and set up machines, including tool registers, compensation settings, and conditional switches.
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor equipment adjustments.
  • Troubleshoot machine and production issues to minimize downtime and maintain quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate production records, machine logs, and quality inspection documentation.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • At least two years of experience operating CNC machines, tools, and equipment.
  • Knowledge and ability to produce high-quality parts while maintaining tight tolerances.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Proficient in taking measurements and performing basic calculations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials as required.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
