Job Description


CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift
Location: Columbus, NE
Pay: $18.50/hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM

Position Summary:
We are hiring CNC Machinists for skilled positions on 2nd shift. This is not a basic machine operation role—our machinists are hands-on, detail-focused, and self-driven professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machines to produce parts within tight tolerances

  • Read and interpret highly detailed blueprints and technical drawings

  • Use precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, snap gauges, and no-go gauges

  • Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy within thousandths of an inch

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures consistently

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time

  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

  • Basic math, computer, and keyboarding skills

  • Previous CNC machining experience preferred

  • Ability to work independently and solve problems on the floor
