Job Description


Shipping & Receiving / Material Handler-$15/hr
Galesburg, IL 

We are looking for a reliable individual to join our team as a Shipping & Receiving / Material Handler. This position is responsible for keeping accurate records of all products shipped and received, safely operating industrial trucks, and assisting with production tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments

  • Operate forklifts and other industrial trucks to load/unload materials and deliveries

  • Move materials to and from storage areas, machines, loading docks, trucks, or railroad cars

  • Operate a grinder and assist with cleaning and preparing parts

  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris

  • Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or material handling preferred

  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and industrial equipment

  • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to [X lbs]
