Job Title: Pattern Repairer – 1st Shift (Foundry / Manufacturing)

Location: Rochester, IN
Schedule: Full-Time | 1st Shift | Weekends as Needed
Employer: Advance Services, Inc. (Staffing Agency)

Pay Rate (Based on Experience & Skill Level): $29-$33/hr

Job Summary

Advance Services is hiring an experienced Pattern Repairer for a 1st shift position in a manufacturing/foundry environment. This is a critical hands-on role responsible for repairing and maintaining patterns used in metal casting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, related foundry or pattern experience, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Repair, modify, and maintain casting patterns to support production needs.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
Read and follow work instructions, drawings, and specifications.
Work in high-heat industrial environments.
Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO and required PPE.
Communicate clearly with supervisors and internal teams.
Demonstrate strong time management and decision-making skills.
Work weekends as needed to meet production demands.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pattern Repairer or related experience such as foundry work, pattern making, tool & die, maintenance, or machining.
Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail.
Experience using LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) procedures.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
Ability to work in high-heat environments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed work instructions.
Ability to pass a written or practical skills test with a score of 75% or higher.
