Job Description


Shipping and Receiving Dispatcher

Advance Services is seeking an experience dispatcher to work in a busy materials distribution facility in the Channelview, Tx area. Responsibilities are as follows.
  • Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
  • Collaborate and communicate with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
  • Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Promptly unload trucks and deliveries; sort and stock receivables.
  • Maintain an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
  • Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
  • Provide additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments.
  • Assist the Shipping/Receiving personnel as needed.
  • Complete daily inbound receiving of products and packages; notify recipients accordingly.
  • Manage open dock inbound website for scheduling.
  • Create delivery receipts and packing slips.

  
$18-$20 per hour D.O.E
