Job Description

Forklift Operator/Shredder – Second shift ($19.50)


HOURS: 3:00pm-1:00am
LOCATION: Bolingbrook, IL
*Must be available to work overtime after shift.
We are looking for a dependable and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Forklift Operator/Shredder. This dual role involves operating forklifts to move, load, and organize materials, as well as operating shredding equipment to process and dispose of products or materials in compliance with company policies and safety regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, and organize pallets, containers, and materials within the facility.
- Feed, monitor, and operate shredding machines to process materials according to company standards.
- Ensure shredded output meets quality, compliance, or security requirements.
- Inspect forklifts and shredding equipment daily, reporting malfunctions or safety issues.
- Maintain accurate counts, records, and labels for materials moved or destroyed.
- Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.
- Assist with general warehouse or production tasks to support overall team goals.
